Tenchi and The Seer
Tenchi was sitting on the porch listening to Aeka & Ryoko arguing over the finer points of Jurai Society. He was tired after working in the fields all day. Grandpa and Father were away; having gone to town earlier in the day. Mihoshi spotted the girl first.
"Hey Tenchi! Who's that?" Mihosi says pointing down the road. A young girl in a blue and purple Kimono was walking towards the house. "I'm not sure, but please don't scare her away." Tenchi says walking down the road to meet this girl. "Oh we'll be good, Tenchi." Ryoko says crossing her fingers behind her back.
"Yes, I'll be on my best behavior, Lord Tenchi." Aeka says quickly following behind Tenchi. Sasami walks to the door. "Where did everybody go?" Mihoshi states, "They went to meet the girl on the path. See?" Sasami stares & then reponds with, "Oh I'll go and make a special treat. I love company." Sasami runs off to the kitchen.
The girl was not young as the term girl implies. This Tenchi, Aeka, and Ryoko could see as they approached her. They saw a beautiful young woman with long black hair hanging loose down her back, coy brown eyes, and a look of determination on her face. She was here for something or someone that much they could see. Aeka & Ryoko immediately became defensive. They thought, What does this woman want with MY Tenchi?
The woman stopped as Tenchi, & the girls approached. She looked down at the medallion in her hands, and clasped it to her chest. She knew it was meant for this young man. She also knew that it must not be given to him in front of anyone. They had to be alone. She put the medallion away.
She looked up as Tenchi approached her. "Hi! I'm Tenchi. This is Aeka & Ryoko." Tenchi says, reaching out his hand. She grasps it lightly. "How do you do." Aeka says, smiling. "Hey! What's your name?" Ryoko says staring at the woman with her arms crossed over her chest. The woman drops back into a fighting stance and says, "My name and my task here does not concern you or the other woman. I am here to see Tenchi, and only him." Aeka says "Please we mean you no harm." She then drops back s does Tenchi. Ryoko floats forward and stares evilly at the woman. She grabs the woman by the arm and the woman throws her. She lands on her butt in the road. "Hey! What did you do that for?!" Ryoko says standing up and rubbing her bottom.
"You did not announce your intentions. Say what you mean to do next time and it will not happen again." She says and starts walking to the house. They follow her.
